The ELM Foundation hosted a screen printing workshop with Tomas Vu, Emma Hammond-Thomas, and Garrett Ball. The artists demonstrated how to screenprint on t-shirts using an image of the Spherochromatic dome, similar to the installation on view in The Boiler gallery.

NYC based visual artist Tomas Vu installs his work in the Boiler Gallery. His exhibition, "The Man Who Fell To Earth 76|22," runs through June 5th.

The ELM Foundation hosted a workshop led by artist and educator Fernando Ruiz Lorenzo with special guest COCO144. Students learned about the history and fundamentals of aerosol art and graffiti letter making while creating their own handstyle and name ending with a youth gallery show of their work.

The community at ELM Foundation celebrated the close of COCO144's "wRit-ua-l" with a evening of performance, poetry, DJ sets and dancing! Thank you to the performers and guests alike who made the night a truly special celebration!

The Boiler Gallery at ELM Foundation opens its exhibition of COCO144's recent work. "wRit+ua+l" opened March 26 and ran through April 16. The opening and closing receptions featured music and interactive performance, and a wonderful, celebration of New York City's unique, historic art forms.

ELM Foundation celebrated its 3rd birthday with a party in the Boiler Gallery. Kids and their family's made "Brave Bird" tees, designed their own delicious cupcakes, and danced to a live DJ set. Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us!

ELM Foundation welcomes artist Kimberly Guynn, debuting new works in our ELM gallery. The artist's paintings depict and reflect on the female form.

The Boiler Gallery at ELM Foundation opens to exhibit Nathan West's "8 Ball," a show of photographic work portraying pool halls and their athletic connoisseurs. The gallery itself was transformed into a dive bar for this event; our visitors were invited to play pool until last call!

ELM Foundation kicked off our first Public Art Program this fall! Local youth, mentored by the pioneer street writer "COCO144," have designed & painted a spectacular public mural on ELM Foundation's south facing wall. A big thank you goes to Colossal Media for donating our paint!

ELM Foundation hosted a silent auction fundraiser in our ELM Gallery. Visitors bid on donated works from local artists and the profits went towards for ELM's operational budget. ELM extends a big thank you to our community for their continued support of our programs and mission.

ELM Foundation opens a group show of new work by emerging artists in The Boiler Gallery. The exhibition was curated by Emma Fujiko Hammond-Thomas.

ELM Foundation's group of summer student interns visited the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies at Columbia University for a tour of the facilities and a hands-on cyanotype workshop.

ELM Foundation welcomed community youth to our location in Brooklyn for an introduction to cyanotype, a basic printmaking process involving sun and cyanotype fluid.

ELM Foundation welcomed musicians from the National Jazz Museum in Harlem for an evening performance in the Boiler gallery @ ELM Foundation.

The event coinsides with "BOUND," an installation in the Boiler gallery at ELM Foundation by our current artist Emma Fujiko Hammond-Thomas.

We hosted a VIP viewing and dinner. The exhibit is open to the public during gallery hours.
