Kids Cyanotype Workshop I

July 2021

ELM Foundation hosted a workshop for kids to learn the process of cyanotype. A group of local youth attended the workshop, which was led by our current exhibiting artist, Emma Fujiko Hammond-Thomas. The kids tested exposing images in the sun using flowers, hands, and their own drawings as imagery in this reproductive print process. The upcoming Cyanotype II Workshop later this July will build on this introduction, as kids develop their images onto tee shirts. As you can see, we had a lot of fun with this beautiful, blue process!
