About the Event

In this eight-week class, students explore the history and techniques of stop motion animation under expert guidance. Using cutting-edge software like DragonFrame 5, they will learn to create captivating short films by designing storyboards, capturing movements, and refining their storytelling skills. 

This will be a mixed skill level course. Both new and previous students are welcome to join!!

Ages 10 - 15  (or with special permission)

Week 1 - Wednesday, September 18th, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Week 2 - Wednesday, September 25th, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Week 3 - Wednesday, October 2nd, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Week 4 - Wednesday, October 9th, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Week 5 - Wednesday, October 16th, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Week 6 - Wednesday, October 23rd, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Week 7 - Wednesday, October 30th, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Week 8 - Wednesday, November 6th, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Following the Fall and Winter sessions, students will also have a chance to show off their work at the end of semester student showcase! (more details to come)

REGISTRATION

Class size is limited to 10 students.

This will be a mixed skill level course. Both new and previous students are welcome to join!!

Due to the amount of interest and limited space in the class, we ask that your student be committed to attending all of the classes. Please check your calendars and verify the dates work. Once you submit the RSVP online form we will follow up soon to complete the resgistration process.

ELM Foundation is dedicated to free arts education

We are a young and growing 501c3 non profit, being such we depend on our community for support to keep our programming running while providing quality education with dedicated art instructors.  Our students vary in socio-economic backgrounds and our goal is to make arts education free to all youth. If your family is in a position to make an additional donation we would accept it with great appreciation.  Donations are tax deductible and 100% goes to sustain the continuation of our class programming.
