About the Event
Join artists Shayna Strype and Dane Manary for MINIATURE WORLDS: Paper and Shadow, a hands-on Steam Works workshop for kids and families at The Boiler!
Shayna and Dane, whose exhibition Every Angel Is Terrifying is currently on view at The Boiler, will lead the workshop, sharing their mediums and techniques.
Kids will experiment with paper cut-outs, collage, and projections, and design and collage their own miniature four-room book with cut outs and hand drawn elements.
Then participants will bring their book to life with experiments in performance, projections, and optical illusions.
