Join us at The Boiler for BETWEEN BODIES, LaGuardia's Senior Art Exhibition. Curated and produced by students in collaboration with ELM Foundation’s Curation Class, led by Bobbi Salvör Menuez.
This show offers a space to interpret what lies us, what shapes our separation, and our unity. Understanding the arbitrary distinctions that shape our world is an increasingly difficult task, and the work in this gallery is an attempt to cope with those discrepancies. In our current political climate, we need to ask ourselves questions that make us confront the verity of our existence and surroundings.
What separates bodies, in a physical or emotional sense? What dictates said separation or attachment? What causes us to come together, and is there always something between us, no matter how hard we try?
