About the Event
What can kids expect to learn in this class?
Students will learn the ins and outs of screen printing and how to apply the technique to various mediums. We will explore the history, technique, and practice of the printing process. Each student will create a unique idea of what to print and what to print on.
After the design process and the screens are developed, we will explore the inking process on T-shirts and more.
Ages 10 and up!Â

Optional New Student Open House - Saturday February 4th 1-3pm
If you and your family are new to ELM Foundation and want to tour our facilites and meet the team please join us during this open house, we would love to meet you!
Day 1 - Wednesday, February 8th  4-5:30 pm
Day 2 - Wednesday, February 15th 4-5:30 pm
*No Class for Winter Break
Day 3 - Wednesday, March 1st 4-5:30 pm
Day 4 - Wednesday, March 8th 4-5:30 pm
Day 5 - Wednesday, March 15th 4-5:30 pm
Day 6 - Wednesday, March 22nd 4-5:30 pm
Day 7 - Wednesday, March 29th 4-5:30 pm
Day 8 - Â Wednesday, April 5th 4-5:30 pm (School holiday - Â we will still hold class but understand if you are absent)
*No Class April 12th Spring Break
Day 9 - Wednesday, April 19th 4-5:30 pm (Final print day and gallery show prep)

REGISTRATION
Class size is limited to 15 to allow more screen time Â
Due to the amount of interest and limited space in the class we ask that your child is committed to attending all of the classes. Please check your calendars and verify the dates work. Â While we do understand things come up, please let us know in advance if you must miss class and we will do our best to schedule make up time so that they do not fall behind on the lessons.

We are a young and growing 501c3 non profit, being such we depend on our community for support to keep our programming running while providing quality education with dedicated art instructors. Â Our students vary in socio-economic backgrounds and our goal is to make arts education free to all youth. If your family is in a position to make an additional donation we would accept it with great appreciation. Â Donations are tax deductible and 100% goes to sustain the continuation of our class programming.
